ABOUT US

  • Core Team

    Core members of the GC team are alumni from top business and technology schools. Prior to joining this education initiative, all have long experience of the corporate sector across different categories such as consumer marketing, advertising, investment banking, and supply chain management and at very senior positions.

  • Advisors

    We have a formidable set of advisors from the field of school education, higher education, centre and state governments, technical and management institutes, technology and design. There are Professors from IIT-Delhi, Learning Design Experts, Technologists and Senior Bureaucrats who have been guiding us in our journey of last 10 years.

  • Experience

    We as a team came together around 10 years ago. In the initial 5 years worked in the school education space, primarily with the government of Haryana.

We worked on multiple projects, including the flagship program of transformation road map impacting grade appropriate learning levels of core subjects. This was designed to impact 4 million students in 15,000 schools, involving over 1, 00,000 teachers. We partnered the policy team of the School Education Department of the State Government and Boston Consulting Group in this initiative. Amongst other signature engagements, worked with a team of Professors of IIT Delhi, creating digital models of the core 300 concepts of school mathematics, with the premise of making the abstract math "visible",
Another long term project, spanning more than 3 years, was to teach Mathematics, Science and English to more than 5000 middle schools students using ICT, in the most backwards schools, in a district. The prime focus was to systematically address the conceptual learnings and mitigate the accumulated deficiencies, using innovative and disruptive techniques. We used concept maps, mistake mapping, bridge programs, visualization and other interventions.
Team trained more than 800 school information managers, enabling digital transformation in over 1000 schools, in the state.
